The late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev’s coronation ceremony in 1974 inspired the creation of this special reserve, which is known as Coronation Khukri. It comes packaged in a distinctive bottle that resembles a Khukri, a national emblem of brilliance, pride, and elegance. The first Coronation Khukri was given to the King in his honor as one of the distinguished guests invited to the ceremony.
